Aortic stents installed for abdominal aortic aneurysm require regular monitoring to check for endoleaks in the aneurysmal sac. A series without injection is required to search for spontaneous hyperdensities in the aneurysmal sac that could be misleading and wrongly lead to an endoleak diagnosis during the injected series. MSI (iodine) reconstruction makes it possible to do without this series and therefore the additional radiation, resulting in a series practically without contrast. The lack of enhancement of the aneurysmal sac is offset by the MD Iodine (Water) series study, demonstrating an absence of iodine in the sac.
