You need detailed information such as confirmation of valve stenosis, viable access approach, distances to ostia, elliptical aortic root dimension, identification of the valve plane, and appropriate angle for valve deployment in the cath lab. You need a protocol that helps process imaging data into 3D models to help you better understand a particular patient’s cardiac anatomy and aid in developing an appropriate therapy path and strategy. 

In the cath lab, precise guidance and positioning of planned therapy is crucial. Real-Time 3D working view of the delivery site would facilitate valve deployment.   

Valve Assist

The Valve Planning protocol in the Vessel IQ Xpress application lets you visualize cardiac anatomy with the degree of detail required to evaluate the presentation of the aortic valve. Armed with this information you can develop a pre-procedural TAVR/TAVI plan to establish a therapy strategy for the patient. Innova HeartVision fuses the real time 2D fluoro images on the boom monitor with 3D anatomy overlays from CT, MR, or X-ray data sets, providing guidance for device positioning and deployment with control at tableside.

Intended Use

Valve Planning protocol of VesselIQ Xpress is intended to provide an optimized non–invasive application to analyze vascular anatomy and pathology and aid  in determining treatment paths (TA, TF, TAo, Subclavian) from a set of Computed Tomography (CT) Angiographic images.

Innova HeartVision is intended to enable users to load 3D datasets and overlay and register in real time these 3D datasets with fluoroscopic or radiographic images of the same anatomy in order to support catheter/device guidance during interventional procedures.
