CARESCAPE™ VC150 Monitor Training Course:
The CARESCAPE™ VC150 Monitor training session is designed to give participants the information and product knowledge needed to proficiently operate the MonitorThe training session will use discussion, as well as extensive hands-on practice to teach the course objectives as they apply to the specific care area.
At the completion of this course, the learner will be able to:
Identify the main components of the CARESCAPE™ VC150 Monitor
Navigate through multiple menus and return to the normal display
Identify the waveform and parameter areas of the display
Change monitor status (OFF / ON / STANDBY)
Understand the meaning of Battery Icons and LED lights
Log-in as a caregiver
Perform Positive Patient Identification
Editing Patient Information
Add a new patient using a barcode scan
Shift to Spot-checking/monitoring mode (if applicable)
Adjust upper / Lower alarm limits
Start a NIBP reading using the proper cuff size:
STAT
Cycle
Profile
Perform oximetry measurement
View Pleth and SIQ (If available)
Measure temperature with Welch Allyn Suretemp plus or Exergen Temporal Scanner
Send / delete a single snapshot
